The short version
Three forms on this site collect information: the contact form, the Growth Blocker calculator and the Growth Check. All three deliver by email to our inbox. A Growth Check sent from a personal link also goes to the one partner of ours named on that link. We use what you send to reply to you. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a list, and there is no marketing sequence behind any of them.
What each form collects
The contact form collects your name, your email address, optionally your company and the kind of business it is, and your message.
The Growth Blocker calculator asks for a revenue range and a few numbers about your business: gross profit margin, growth, headcount, average salary and staff turnover. It works out its estimate in your browser, and nothing is sent while you do that. When you enter your email address and press Show me the full breakdown, we receive your email address and a written breakdown: the estimated cost, in total and for each of three areas, and most of the numbers you entered (your revenue range, headcount, average salary, growth rates, turnover rate, and target margin if you gave one). Your gross profit figure itself is not sent, and neither are a name or a company, which this form does not ask for.
The Growth Check asks for your name, your email address and your company before the first question, and your role if you want to give it. Then it asks ten questions about your business and a few open ones. When you pick an answer, the page shows you a short read on it. It does not show you an overall score.
Nothing you enter is sent anywhere until you press Send my answers on the last screen, which first shows you everything you entered. When you press it, we receive your name, email address and company, and a written summary of all your answers. The summary also carries a scoring the page works out from the answers you pick and does not show you: a percentage for each of the three areas, the building block that looks most limiting, and whether the one-hour call looks like a fit. We use it to prepare our reply and the call.
If you close the tab without pressing send, we never see your answers and we have no way to recover them.
If you used the Growth Blocker calculator first, the Growth Check fills in the email address you gave it. The calculator keeps that address in your browser until you close the tab, and the filling-in sends nothing. The address reaches us again only if you press Send my answers.
Personal links. Some people receive a Growth Check link made for them. When you open one, your browser sends the code in the link to our server, which returns the name, role, company and email address we have on file for that link and fills them in. You can change any of them before you start. Anyone who has the link can see those four details, so keep it as you would any personal email. When you send your answers from a personal link, the email is marked with who the link was made for, and a copy also goes to the one partner of ours named on that link.
What happens to it
It is delivered as an email, from our own server directly to the receiving mail server, and it lands in a mailbox a person reads. For a Growth Check sent from a personal link, a second copy goes the same way to the partner named on that link. None of it is written to a database by this website. Our server logs the fact that a message was sent, and deliberately does not log the message body or the sender's address. For a personal link, that log line also names who the link was made for.
The web servers in front of this site also keep ordinary access logs. They record each page request, one of them with the visitor's internet address and browser, and for a personal link that includes the link itself.
If a conversation goes further, your details may end up in the systems we use to run engagements, in the ordinary way any firm keeps a record of who it is talking to.
What this site does not do
- No analytics, no tag manager and no tracking pixel. There is none on any page.
- No advertising or retargeting.
- No cookies set by this site.
- No third-party form service. The forms post to our own endpoint on our own server.
- No third-party fonts. Plus Jakarta Sans is served from this domain, so no request for it reaches anybody else.
The practical effect is that visiting this site does not tell anybody but us that you visited it.
On the Growth Check's last screen, Pick a time opens our booking page on Google Calendar, where Google's own privacy policy applies and the time you book comes to us.
Asking us to delete it
Write to gwasmuth@cocreatorsgroup.com and ask. We will delete what we hold, apart from the two things below, and tell you when it is done. You do not have to give a reason.
If you sent a Growth Check from a personal link, a copy is also in our partner's mailbox, and we cannot delete it from there. We will tell you who the partner is, ask them to delete it, and tell you what they say.
Our server logs are not built to have one person's lines taken out, so we do not try. They clear themselves instead. The web server log that holds internet addresses has a fixed size and drops its oldest lines, about two weeks at a time, when it fills, so at our current traffic a line stays about four to seven weeks, and less if traffic grows. The server in front of it keeps its log for about two hours at present, longer in quiet periods, and does not record internet addresses. Our form server's log, which notes who a personal link was made for, is cleared each time we replace that server, which has no set schedule.
