Stage 01
Clarity from your own numbers.
Every engagement starts here. In two to four weeks we read your own systems, find what is capping your growth and hand back a ranked list of fixes, in writing.
What it is
The first hour is free: fifteen minutes on the Growth Check, then a forty-five-minute video call. Together they show us which area of the business to look at first. The Survey does the work behind it. For two to four weeks we pull evidence from your financials, your operations and your systems, and score it against a written rubric. We present the result to you in person as a ranked list of fixes, ordered by effort against time to benefit. You end with a written verdict.
What you receive
- 01
80/20 by customer and product
We map revenue and gross profit across your customer segments and sales channels to show which customers and products make money and which do not. Once cost to serve is counted, part of the book often earns nothing at all. We find which part is which, on your own numbers.
- 02
Financial review, three to five years
We read three to five years of your financials for the trend: where margin moved, when it moved and what caused it. One year shows where you stand. Several years together show whether the business is getting stronger or losing ground under numbers that still look fine.
- 03
Basic operating KPIs
We measure employee retention and turnover, safety, on-time delivery and customer concerns in parts per million, the same way at every site you run. When each site measures differently, nobody can compare them. One definition, used everywhere, makes the comparison fair and the findings usable.
- 04
"What's working" questions
We run structured interviews with your team on what works today, as well as what is broken. The fix a business needs often exists already, in a process one plant runs well and another has never seen. We find it and write it down before we recommend anything new.
- 05
Scalable and durable growth readiness
A written read on whether the business, as it runs today, can carry the next stage of growth without breaking what already works. Doubling volume exposes the parts of an operation that were never built to carry weight. We name those parts before growth finds them.
- 06
In-person presentation and second-stage proposal
We present the findings to you in person. Then we propose, in writing, only the work the findings say is worth doing. If a Blueprint is warranted, it sits in the area the Survey named as the constraint. You decide what happens next.
The findings are yours whether or not you go further. A Survey credits in full toward the Blueprint in the same lane.
What it needs from you
- Read-only access to your financial and operating data, current and historical
- Time for structured interviews with the people who run the business
- A single point of contact who can get us the right numbers quickly
- Two to four weeks on the calendar for the work to run
How it ends
The Survey ends with an in-person presentation of the ranked findings and a written proposal. You keep the findings whatever you decide. If a Blueprint is warranted, the proposal names its lane and asks for no more than the evidence supports.
Where it fits
The Survey is the first stage of every engagement, ahead of any Blueprint in any of the five areas: Finance, Operations, Sales and marketing, Technology and Leadership. It replaces a guess about what is capping your growth with evidence. See the three stages for the full sequence.
Where to go from here
One hour of your time, no charge: fifteen minutes on the Growth Check, then a forty-five-minute video call. We read every answer before the call.
