What we do · The Buyer Intelligence Report

Know the buyer first

Most proposals get written from one conversation and a good memory. The Buyer Intelligence Report reads a named buyer's whole world first, financials, pressures, and the people who actually decide, before a single recommendation is written.

What it is

The Buyer Intelligence Report is a written, evidence-based read on a specific buyer, built before you ever propose to them. We research the buyer's business to depth, name ten real, evidenced problems they are facing rather than assumed ones, and construct a recommendation built out of what you actually offer, aimed at those named problems. The deal itself is then scored out of one hundred, across the factors that decide whether it is actually worth chasing.

What you receive

  • 01

    The buyer's world

We research the buyer's business the way a serious analyst would: financials, strategic pressures, recent leadership changes, and what they have already tried. Then we name ten real problems they are facing, each with its business impact, what it is already costing them, and the evidence behind the claim, not an assumption dressed as a finding.

  • 02

    The constructed recommendation

The recommendation is not chosen from a shelf. It is built in front of the buyer's own ranked problems, out of what you actually have to offer, naming the specific capabilities that matter most to this buyer given those problems. A generic pitch and a constructed one read very differently to someone who has heard a hundred pitches.

  • 03

    The score

The deal itself is scored out of one hundred, across how well it fits what the buyer actually needs, whether you can reach the people who decide, your position against the alternatives, how fast it is moving, and what could kill it that has nothing to do with the merits.

What it needs from you

  • The named buyer, the named seller contact, and whatever you already know about the deal
  • Access to whatever research or notes already exist on this specific opportunity
  • A short conversation with whoever owns the relationship, before research begins
  • Time to review the intake summary before deep research starts

How it ends

The Buyer Intelligence Report ends with a written recommendation built for this specific buyer, and a score that tells you honestly whether the deal is worth the time it will take to chase. You keep the finding regardless of what you decide next. A confirmed deal killer scores low on purpose, because the score exists to tell you the truth, not to flatter the pipeline.

Where it fits

The Buyer Intelligence Report sits in the Sales and marketing area's Lead generation and Pipeline and follow-up lanes: knowing a specific buyer before you propose to them. It runs on a single named deal, not a general marketing read. See How we work for the full Survey, Blueprint, and Build sequence, or the Sales and marketing area for what else we look at here.
